You won’t be attending a traditional classroom setting, but rather a full-fledged course within a real creative studio. We want to make this clear: this is not an internship, and you won’t be working for the agency. Under the guidance of instructors and professionals, you’ll take theoretical and practical classes focused exclusively on your growth and on building your personal portfolio, using the best software on the market.

MEET OUR TEACHERS

  • Massimo Mora

    2D - 3D ANIMATION / CREATIVE PROCESS TEACHER

    With 15+ years in commercial advertising and large-scale events, Massimo evolved from a 3D Artist into a Creative Producer. He will teach you how to develop creative concepts for global brands and bring them to life, guiding you through advanced, hands-on workflows in After Effects and 3D software.

  • Ekaterina Potapova

    CONCEPT TO MOTION TEACHER

    A multidisciplinary designer with years of experience and background in motion design, game design, print, and 3D. At TBX Bootcamp, she will guide participants in learning about strategy, audience, concept development, and the key principles of communication design, while gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as Blender.

  • Sofia Wu

    COMPOSITING & MATTE PAINTING TEACHER

    Since 2017, she has been teaching design and digital representation in Milan. Her research explores the relationship between image, space, and visual storytelling, with a focus on compositing and 3D visualization techniques. Over the years, she has taught numerous students, many of whom have gone on to pursue careers in 3D visualization, post-production and the creative industries.

  • Andrea Giacinti

    ADVANCED 3D WORKFLOW FOR LIVE EVENTS TEACHER

    With over 9 years of freelance experience, he develops visual projects across CGI, motion, and digital art. His practice is driven by experimentation, blending digital and analogue techniques to create distinctive visual outcomes and explore new creative processes. Selected clients include Dior, Kappa, X-Factor, Damiano David, and Elodie.

Everything you need to know about the TBX Bootcamp

THE VALUE

  • Forget the traditional classroom: your desk will be right in our creative studio.

    The added value isn’t just what you learn, but where you learn it. You’ll be surrounded not only by teachers, but by TBX Agency professionals engaged in their real-world workflows.

    In addition to your study sessions, you’ll have a front-row seat to the agency’s inner workings, seeing firsthand how we turn client challenges into tangible projects.

  • The days are designed to be productive. In the morning, from 10:00 to 12:30, we focus on theory and methodology: we analyse the creative processes, strategies, and techniques underpinning the software.

    After the break, from 14:00 to 17:00, we move on to the practical side: you’ll immediately apply what you’ve learnt to your projects, with mentors on hand to support you and guide your work in real time. 

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays will be your ‘Self-Production’ days in the studio: you’ll have your own dedicated workstation from 10:00 to 17:00 to reflect on the week’s work, experiment with your projects, and soak up the studio atmosphere even when your mentors aren’t in the classroom.

    In these two days, optionally, you have a chance to work by yourself in the studio on personal projects within our course. Get a taste of an actual working professional environment where you can explore various tools and mediums at your own pace.

  • This is the ultimate agency immersion. During this special session, you will step out of the student role and into the TBX Agency creative team. You will be directly involved in a live brainstorming session for a real client brief currently assigned to the agency.

    It is a unique opportunity to witness professional Creative Directors and Designers in action, see how we deconstruct a brief, and actively participate in the ideation process. You won’t just watch a case study; you will be integrated into a real production workflow, experiencing firsthand the energy, the logic, and the strategic thinking required to deliver top-tier industry work.

  • Forget typical school tests; this is a real-world launchpad. The final day of the bootcamp is completely dedicated to The Final Exam & Networking Event.

    You will pitch your completed portfolio to a panel of external, top-tier industry professionals, not your teachers, but Creative Directors and Lead Designers invited from other prominent agencies and studios. This is your chance to showcase your 12-week progress, get raw, objective feedback from the market, master the art of the job interview, and network directly with the people who manage this part on daily basis. It’s not just a test; it’s your first step into the industry.

REQUIREMENTS

  • No, you don’t need to be an expert. If you have the right aesthetic sensibility but lack some technical basics for certain programs, we’ve organised ‘Zero Week’: an optional, free week before the course officially starts, dedicated entirely to the basics of the software.

    To ensure everyone gets the most out of the course, we want you to warm up so we can run together throughout the 12-week course.   • Honestly? It’s very intense. It’s a bootcamp designed for those who want to take their career to the next level in record time. It requires physical attendance and total dedication on course days, and the ability to work independently on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

    If you want to achieve real results, you need to be prepared to immerse yourself fully in the agency’s way of working.

  • We provide you with a professional workstation that has already been set up to our standards, with all the software installed and fully licensed.

    We want you to experience the agency environment to the fullest, using the same tools we use every day.

LOGISTICS & EXCLUSIVITY

  • Because we’re not the run-of-the-mill school that you’d find anywhere.

    To ensure you’re truly ‘side by side’ with our teachers whilst also experiencing the vibrant atmosphere at the heart of the agency, we can’t accommodate more than seven people at a time. It’s the only way to guarantee a genuine and personalised transfer of skills.

  • Absolutely. Our upper-floor HQ is strategic: we are well connected to Milan's city center, linked with the creative heart of the city but away from the chaotic traffic.

    If you are commuting by public transport, the studio is just a short walk from the Villa Fiorita metro station (Green Line / M2), making it incredibly easy to reach from any main train station in Milan (like Centrale or Garibaldi) in just a few stops. Whether you come by metro, or car, getting to your desk every morning at 10:00 will be completely stress-free. In case you have car, we provide a free parking spot for you.

  • We know that relocating for two months is a big undertaking.

    Although we don’t manage the accommodation ourselves, we’ve put together a list of recommended hotels, residences, and flats near the studio to make your search easier and allow you to focus solely on your professional development.

AFTERWARDS

  • No, it’s neither of those things.

    The TBX Agency Bootcamp is a paid, intensive training program designed for those who want to make a significant leap forward in a short amount of time. Even though you’ll be based in our studio, our sole objective over the 12 weeks is your personal development, not just through the courses, but also by improving your portfolio and showing you how the working world really operates, not by carrying out work for our clients.

  • You will develop 4 core projects, each mentored by our specialized instructors, to serve as the backbone of your new showcase.

    However, keep in mind that these projects are the canvas for the most important skill we teach: the methodology of presentation. While we provide all the professional feedback, technical secrets, and creative guidance you need, the final quality of your output depends on your personal commitment and daily execution. Our goal is to equip you with a high-end framework to present your work, regardless of the quantity, so you can finally make an impact in the professional market.

  • At the end of the course, you’ll receive a certificate of attendance signed by TBX Agency, but let’s be honest, in our line of work, it’s your portfolio that counts.

    The real reward will be the work you produce during the course and the work you’ll create afterwards, using the new skills you’ve learnt.
